The three labels
- Verified
- An editor checked the offer and recorded the date of that check, and the date is within the last 90 days. When the date gets older, the label drops away on its own.
- Checked 5 months ago
- A check is on record, but either it is older than 90 days or the editor did not mark it Verified. We show the date so you can weigh it yourself.
- Not checked yet
- No check has been recorded. The offer is listed as the retailer or source describes it.
What a check involves
- Compare the details. The discount wording, code, offer type, conditions and end date are compared with what the retailer or source publishes.
- Look at the destination. Where practical, the brand page the offer links to is opened to confirm it matches.
- Record the result. The editor marks the offer Verified and enters the date of the check. The site will not accept Verified without a date, and will not accept a date in the future.
- Keep the page current. Offers known to be wrong are corrected, switched off or removed, and the page’s updated date changes when its offers change.
What we cannot promise
Brands control their own promotions. A code can be withdrawn early, capped after a number of uses, or limited to new customers, some countries or certain products. Always check that the discount appears in your basket before you pay. If the brand’s checkout disagrees with CouponWorth, the brand is right.
Questions
Does Verified mean a code is guaranteed to work?
No. It means an editor checked the offer and recorded the date, and that date is within the last 90 days. A retailer can still change, limit or end the offer at any time, and some offers depend on your country, account or basket.
Why do some offers say "Not checked yet"?
Some offers are listed as the retailer or source describes them before anyone has checked them. Rather than hide them or dress them up, we label them plainly so you can decide for yourself.
Are offers ever added in bulk?
Yes. Besides entering offers one by one, editors can load a prepared file containing a brand page and its offers. Imported offers follow the same rules: an offer can only be marked Verified if a check date is included, and the label still expires after 90 days.
What happens when an offer stops working?
Once we know, the offer is corrected, switched off or removed. Offers whose end date has passed are moved into a folded "Expired offers" section at the bottom of the brand page.
Found an offer that does not work?
Use the contact form and include the brand and the code. Reports go to the same people who edit the pages.
