Editorial policy

The rules every brand page on CouponWorth is held to.

Sources

Offers may come from a retailer’s own site or campaigns, affiliate programmes, third-party coupon listings or reader reports. Wherever an offer comes from, it is published through our editing tools by a person with access to the site.

Labels

An offer may show Verified only when an editor has recorded the date of a check within the last 90 days. The software enforces this: the label cannot appear without a date, and it disappears automatically when the date gets old. Details are on how we check offers.

How offers are described

  • The saving shown is the saving the offer states. We do not inflate it to a best case.
  • Conditions such as minimum spend, exclusions or new-customer rules are shown with the offer when we know them.
  • End dates are shown when the retailer gives one. Offers past their end date are moved into a separate, folded section.
  • We do not use countdowns or “only 2 left” style urgency.

Structured data

Pages carry Organization, WebSite, BreadcrumbList and, where questions are shown on the page, FAQPage markup. We do not publish review or rating markup, because we do not collect reviews.

Commercial links

Some links earn a commission. They are marked in the page code with rel="sponsored" and explained on the affiliate disclosure page. If a paid placement is ever accepted, it will be labelled where it appears.

Corrections and removals

When we learn that an offer is wrong, it is corrected, switched off or removed. Brand owners who want a page corrected or taken down can use the contact form.
